Required Steps for TVAX Immmunotherapy

Step 1

Perform surgery to obtain patient's cancer.

Step 2

Manufacture personalized cancer cell vaccine in the TVAX laboratory.  Combine inactivated cancer cells with GM-CSF, a powerful immune stimulant.

Step 3

Perform multiple vaccinations with the personalized cancer cell/GM-CSF vaccine to produce "killer" T cell precursors.

Step 4

Collect "killer" T cell precursors from the vaccinated patient's blood.

Step 5

Manufacture "killer" T cells in TVAX laboratory.

Step 6

Transfuse "killer" T cells into patient’s bloodstream.

Step 7

Inject interleukin-2 into patient's bloodstream.

Timeline for TVAX Immunotherapy Treatment

Surgery to 1st vaccination:  2-4 weeks

1st to 2nd vaccination:  2 weeks

2nd to 3rd vaccination:  1 week

3rd to 4th vaccination:  1 week

4th to 5th vaccination:  1 week

5th vaccination to blood collection:  3 days

Blood collection to "killer" T cell infusion:  1 week

Interleukin-2 injections:  10 days

Total time elapsed:  Approximately 10 weeks
